Wilhelmina Peace ‘Mirabilia’

Peace’s practice is deeply informed by her background in anthropology. Her work explores myth, fairytale, and folklore as frameworks through which she examines the inner processes of the human psyche and personal development. Rooted in traditions of Surrealism, Symbolism, Expressionism, and book illustration, and informed by an interest in outsider art, her practice follows an intuitive approach guided by a rich personal symbology drawn from memory and dream narratives.

Martyn Cross (b. 1975, Yate) is an artist and painter living and working in Bristol, UK. His paintings are informed by ideas of human metamorphosis, collective consciousness, and the interconnectedness of living things.
