Stone Lithography: Experimental Techniques

Saturday 16th & Sunday 17th May 2026

This workshop is for artists and printmakers with some experience of lithography to expand their knowledge. With guidance from experienced tutors you will learn how to creatively use the tools of the process to suit your own practice. If you have read about some of these techniques, then this is the perfect opportunity to try them for the first time with an experienced lithographer to assist you.

This class covers different techniques in mark making: 

• Monoprint
• Spatter technique and masking
• Gum mask and solvent tusche
• Gum transfer
