Meg Buick
Meg has has lived in Rome, Leeds and London and is currently based in Bristol. Since completing the her post-graduate at the Royal Drawing School, she has specialised in Painting and Printmaking, with drawing always at the core of her practice.
Meg has won various travel scholarships which have enabled her to deepen her connection with her medium and subject matter. She spent two months drawing in Madrid as an artist in residence at the Museo del Prado, and in 2015 she was the recipient of an RBA scholarship that enabled her to spend a month in Rome, where she developed her relationship with the paintings of the early Italian renaissance. She was elected as a member of the Royal Society of Painter Printmakers through the Gwen May Recent Graduate Award.
